War of the Skies
The history of planet Metreda is a long and fascinating one. Thousands of years ago, humanity reached a peak of magical abilities, having formed entire floating Kingdoms in the sky. Yet, their rulers desired more…and war broke out between those clinging to the Earth’s surface and those in the sky Kingdoms. One by one, each of the Kingdoms was destroyed…except for Kialdes, the peace-seeking Kingdom. Unfortunately, the nations on Earth did not listen to their desires for peace, and send Kialdes into the ocean. The people underwent a magical sleep of sorts to avoid death…yet
Four thousands years later, magic disappeared from the world entirely. How and why is unknown, and still researched by historians today. The year is now 3520 AD, and the world has now reached a technological utopia level. An entire floating nation named Revol, formed after nearly sixty years of planning and hard work, has been constructed above the land. All seems peaceful in this era…until a group of undersea researched stumbled upon Kialdes during a research mission. They got Kialdes above the land again…and thus, the people of the ancient kingdom awoke, their magical abilities still intact. They have now declared war on their technological counterpart. Once again, war threatens the world of Metreda…but now, it shall take places in the skies.
