My first one-shot in FOREVER. Hope you enjoy.
Journal Entry #5 – My Reasons for My Hatred
There are some things my comrades don’t know about me. Actually, a lot of things my comrades don’t know about me. They don’t know why I hate Xemnas so much. They just know that I do. Well, I’ll tell you why I hate Xemnas.
When I was younger, not much younger… my friends and I had an encounter with a man that looked very similar to Xemnas. He said his name was Ansem, and he was seeking ‘the darkness in all hearts’. My friends and I brushed him off, and we kept walking. Ansem wouldn’t take no for an answer, and he decided that he would teach us to bow to his will. I didn’t know that when he said ‘bow to his will’, he meant that he was going to do to us something horrid… bring out the darkness in our hearts.
I was younger, and naïve. While my friends were being tortured and forced to subvert to darkness, I ran and hid, waiting for him to leave so I could get help. What I saw scarred me for life. Ansem turned my friends into Heartless. He turned them, and then took them with him. Yes, I spent the first few months crying and having nightmares about what I saw. After that, my tears turned to rage. I swore to destroy Ansem and all of those connected to his cause.
It was around that time that I saw Xemnas… and the memories flooded back. I engaged Xemnas in combat and lost, but I never lost my resolve. I decided that in order to destroy something that wasn’t supposed to exist, why not combat it with something that is unknown? That’s how my group started. I don’t want to call it an organization. That sounds too much like the pitiful nothings. I decided to call my group ‘The Unknowns’, because we work in secret, leaving nothing known.
At first, my group was small. It was just me and five acquaintances that I met through my travels: Zerians, Nitara, Razi, Rosa, and Amy. But as the Organization grew, so did we. I’m sure that if we continue to grow, we can defeat the Organization. Zerians, however… she left. She left because I punished her for abusing her power and placing Pen as a replacement. Ah well. If she comes back, she won’t be met with open arms. We do horrible things to traitors. Things so horrible… it would put the nothings to shame…
